    Join us for the inaugural KKAA Nashville Chapter Happy Hour at NashVilla!

    We'll provide some light hors d'oeuvres and pizza while socializing at this great restaurant a couple blocks off Broadway that is owned and operated by some of our fellow Alums!

    Join us at Hadley's, 2779 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133 for some great food and fun!

    We will have door prizes, raffles, silent auction, and merchandise for sale and recognize the KKSR staff and alumni with our annual awards.

    We have a special guest speaker this year, fellow Alum David Williams. He served as COPE director at KKSR 1992 & 1993, is a Vigil Honor Member, Chickasah Lodge #406 in 1992, and received the OA Distinguished Service Award in 2024. Here is a bio for him:

    David Williams began serving as the Scout Executive / CEO of the Great Smoky Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America, on March 1, 2015. He is only the 10th Scout Executive in the council’s 113-year history.

    He is a member of the Rotary Club of Knoxville, a member of the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2018, and a member of the Leadership East Tennessee Class of 2021.

    David’s 28-year career with the BSA began with the Middle Tennessee Council, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. His accomplishments there led to his selection as the Deputy Scout Executive/COO of the Circle Ten Council in Dallas, Texas.

    David is a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion. He is an Eagle Scout who enjoys spending time outdoors in various activities, including geocaching. He has been married to Amy for 27 years. They have two children, Grace, a Venturing Summit Award recipient and past Council Venturing & Sea Scout Officers Association President, and Luke, an Eagle Scout and the current E3 Order of the Arrow Section Chief.
