Kia Kima Alumni Association

High Above the South Fork Waters

There is an old saying that once you have drunk from the waters of the South Fork, you will always return.

Kia Kima Scout Reservation in Hardy, Arkansas, holds a special place for so many who have explored the heart of the Ozarks. Founded in 1916, our camp has given over a century of service and impacted the lives of thousands of Scouts and Scouters. The Kia Kima Alumni Association exists to build a community and strengthen the connections between alumni, whether they camped as a youth or adult leader, worked on Staff, or are even just a friend of Kia Kima.

Founded in 2014, the Kia Kima Alumni Association is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The mission of the KKAA is to reconnect alumni with Kia Kima, supporting Kia Kima Scout Reservation and its Staff, and promote the Scouting program.

Onward, ever, be our watchword. Conquer and prevail. Here's to thee, O Kia Kima. BSA, all hail!

Kia Kima Heritage Project

The Kia Kima Heritage Project is the online museum operated by the Kia Kima Alumni Association. Launched in 2019, it documents the history of Kia Kima, the Chickasaw Council, and the areas and camps interwoven into Kia Kima's stories.
